Yesterday was my mum's birthday, so was Rachel Kwek's. Anyway, to cut a long story short, I went for dinner at Crystal Jade at Toa Payoh. At the restaurant, there was tea, and I thought about the tea appreaciation thing. Suddenly, I realised that it was not because I was stressed that I couldn't sleep, but because I drank too much tea at the tea appreciation!! >.< This is so lame.
Counting at how cups I drank, I think I drank more than 5 cups, close to 10. Scary, eh? And the instructor was talking about caffaine in the tea that it keeps you awake. ARGH. Now, I am keeping a distance away form coffee, tea, and anything that keeps me awake. I am even avoiding studying theory at night just in case I keep thinking about it too. :( HOW SAD...)))):
Okay, i have to go off the computer now and start studying theory! It's 3.55pm, and probably I will study for the rest of the day and then ask Melissa and my piano teacher some of my doubts.
Today I did not go to school due to my running nose/cold//flu. I think I caught it from my mum and dad. Sigh...i am glad my parents allowed me to go to school. They said, "What are you doing in school? Nothing right? Okay, don't go lah." HEHE.
Ahh, just received an sms. Going off now!! BYE.

BAD BAD SLEEP...))):
Hello!
I had a bad sleep last night! :( I only slept for a few hours, about 3-4h as I was "stress". It's in inverted commas as I do not even know I am stressed. At night, I keep thinking about my theory and notes keeping popping in my head! It is so scary till i cried. It's like, I am unable to sleep, my parents are unwell as they have cold and cough, so is Rebecca, my second sis, so they can't lie down on my bed with me. Anyway, I am so afraid I have insomnia or something. It's okay if you can't imagine the scenario, but I tell you-it's frightening. :0
I tried to read the Bible to sleep and to make me sleepy, but my dad chased me to bed. Unable to sleep, my mum patted me to sleep. However, once she left the room, I woke up again! Then I tried to sleep again in order not to bother my parents but could not, so i went back to their room. It was then my mum and I realised that I cannot sleep once I hear noise, so anyway she slept with me, on my small bed. :) At that time, it was already 12plus.
In the end, I managed to fall asleep, but woke up a few times, and needed my mum to pat me back to sleep. She sang this song that gave me comfort, but I forgot what it was. I only know the last few words are All Shall Thy. HAHA. (:
At that time, I realised that my parents does all means to take care of me, although she is sick, she showers unconditional love on me. I realised that all the scoldings, nags are not bad after all, as it is to our good and they care for me. (: I hope you do know how much they love you too!
Oh ya! And that night I dreamt that Rachel Lim didn't sleep the whole night! HAHA. As she is reknown for sleeping very late at night in real life, I dreamt about her. lol. She had really heavy eye bags and was carrying some books i think, so i think it was some exam, probably PSLE?? hehe. What a funny dream. :D
Okay, it is 6.05pm and I am feeling a little sleepy now, but I am trying not to take a nap in the afternoon just in case I am unable to sleep tonight again haha.
That reminds me. I have something to tell you! The day before the math PSLE exam, I drank 2 cups of coffee in order to stay awake. In the end, I could not sleep at night until 2plus. sad right? It's scary cos it's like your body is asleep but your mind is still working. I tried counting sheep to sleep but ended up thinking about Maths. And yepp, my mum and dad stayed awake to put me to sleep, gave me some drowsy medicine to make me sleepy. That night, my mum read Psalm 91 to me over and over again, and I recited it with her. I LOVE that chapter. "Psalm 91:2, I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress; my God in whom I trust." This is the verse I memorised ahha.''
Unfortunately, the night before the Science exam, I could not sleep well again! BUT i did not drink coffee, so i think it was not because of the coffee that i can't sleep after all, it is my psychological thinking. And you know what? I was thinking about Electricity then, and during the exam, a few electricity questions came out!!! :0
When I told my dad about this, he said that probably God was telling me to revise Electricity. HAHA. It's quite POSSIBLE, don't you think?
Melissa, Yi Ting and I are emailing each other. We are email pals! We used to be pen pals but it was PSLE so we changed to emailing. Anyway it is very fun, talking about ourselves and knowing more about each other.
Well, I have written quite a long post already, and today in school I did i-movie on our experiences in PL. In the end, we took many funny photos of ourselves (Rachel Lim, jiahui, Samantha and I as we were a group)and also a few group photos of the star programme. I am back blogging!
PSLE is over!!
Actually, it was over last x2 week.
it has been a while since i last blogged, so many things to share but i shall only talk about the recent events going on. (:
I am having a theory piano Grade 5 exam on Saturday, and that is my first exam! :0 I am rather panicky, as i am quite bad at it. My teacher told me i am having it near Little India! Please pray for me, that I would not fail and do exceedingly abundantly well. This year, I also took my first Grade 5 practical and I also thought i would do quite badly but did okay. I got a merit! :D Considering my laziness and last minute preparation, I would say it was not bad. I have been preparing a lot for theory lately, looking at my sister Joanne's notes she did last time(how hardworking!), doing past papers and also looking through Joanne's past papers in 2002, 2003 etc.
It's 3.42pm according to the computer and I want to go off soon. Did a bit of studying before this but decided to take a break. ((: Okay I gotta go off the computer now, before i get hooked on it!

My birthday is coming soon! It's on 18 February, which is next week! 7 more days to go! Can't wait. Unfortunately, my cousin, Rachel, is going to Melbourne for further studies and would not be able to celebrate with me. :( I'm REALLY SERIOUSLY gonna miss her. I love you, rachel jie jie! <3

U-connect Chalet (22nd-24th)
It was VERY FUN!!! We met at tampiness mrt and placed our bags in Hui Xian's van. Then we had an amazing race! We broke up into 2 groups and good I wasn't alone. Rebecca jj and Sophie jj(my cousin) were in my group! YAY. Anyway, the amazing race was held in Isetan and we had to do many activities. The funniest activity was the jump shot. We had to take a pic of our group jumping at the bus stop we alighted from to go to the chalet. But we had to take many times before we succeeded. Ivan was always too slow!! Haha. But we managed to in the end. :D My group ate lunch at the Kopitiam in the mall and I ate chicken rice. Yummm.
After that we arrived at the chalet and settled down. At night, Jonathan and Daniel, Elizabeth's friends, shared with us about the challenges christian youths face in today's society. Daniel shared his testimony. Following that, we played games outside the chalet which caused me to have flour and water all over me! We had to blow flour away from a plate and find polo sweets. Almost all the games are water games. i was realllllllyyyy WET and FLOURY!
At night, I had to share bed with my sister, rebecca. Then both of us kept fighting for the blanket. lol. It was very cold at night. BRRRRRRRR. The next day, we had morning devotion and played games like marble game, cup with holes game, scissors paper stone game and captains ball waterbomb. It was really fun. (: Then we showered and had a break. I watched a show called Joh Tucker Must Die with some of my church friends. After that we had BBQ. Very yummy foooooood. We had a christmas gift exchange and watched Sky High until like 1.45am. HAHA.
We checked out the next day around 9pm. We got home to get ready to go to MALAYSIA!!!!!!!!

- Arrival at Seremban at around 10pm
- Ate some of my Grandma's lovely food
- Watched a little of Over The Hedge with family
- CHRISTMAS DAY!
- Went to grandparents' church for christmas service at 8am. [WOW it was EARLY!!]
- Adjourned to the nearby market for lunch. Ate Hakka Mee! YUMMMMM...
- Went home and completed Over The Hedge
- At about 3pm, I had Chendol at the famous shop. :D [delicious! REAL CHENDOL. not like Singapore's fake ones. Loved it!]
- Family dinner with Klang folks at grandparents' porch. Enjoyed Grandma's scrumptious dishes like her Shark's Fin soup!!!
- Took a 1-2 hour drive to Malacca after lunch
- Met all my KL and Malacca relatives at the usual Malacca house.
- Movie Marathon with cousins!!!-- Over The Hedge [again?!], Date movie, I Am Legend [watched it with lights off], Gridiron Gang [truly inspirational]
- In the morning, SzeSze Jiejie took the girls to Malacca's 'orchard road' [can't rmb the name of the street. oops.] Had real ORIGINAL ICE KACHANG.:D
- Went to visit Portugese Settlement, admired the pretty Christmas lightings of the houses there
- Met with a road accident on the way home, thank God everyone was unhurt
- The Lian's returned to Singapore after lunch
- Started the Chuck series with remaining cousins till the night [completed 3 DISCS!]
- Tried to complete the last Chuck disc in the morning, but failed. :(
- Headed back to Singapore after lunch
- Traffic was rather smooth until Tuas Checkpoint. Was stuck in a 1 hour jam there!
- Happily tore open our Christmas presents (that have been sitting under the Christmas tree for the past one week) upon arrival at home.

HAPPY HAPPY ME!!!! :D
Hello all!
Sorry I haven't been blogging cos I didn't have time. But anyway, church just ended and tomorrow there is a MY HOPE SINGAPORE event in the evening I think. It is an event to invite ppl to Christ. It's gonna be a busy tmr. haha.
On the 22-24 December, there is a u-connect chalet, and guess what?? At first, my mum didn't allow me to go as I had to finish up all my P5 papers, but my mum allowed me to in the end after begging.
EEKS. I have to do one paper now. Sisters are chasing me to. Parents went to buy fruits. BYE!

BAD NEWS!
My mum just told me that my cousin, David, will be coming to fetch my mum and I to the optician! AHHH. I am so utterly superly extremely SCARED. I now have butterflies in my stomach!! HELP ME! I pray that I won't need to wear spectacles! Amen.
Oh! FYI, my cousin, David, is already driving. haha. I think you must be wondering how come he can fetch my mum and I. lol. anyway, he is a doctor and has a brother, Michael, studying vet science in Australia. I hope to become like Michael. tee hee!

I'm rather bored now... no one to talk to online and i'm planning a powerpoint presentation for my tuition. I also have to plan a compo on "A Very Special Dinner" for my tuition too. BLEH.
I'm so glad I've completed my commonwealth essay for I took days to complete it. I wrote too many words and I found it hard to delete some words. haha. Anyway, those who haven't completed, JIA YOU! okay, this will be a short entry. I have no idea what to write about. hehe!
My mum is actually sitting a few inches away from me, she is sitting on the table marking the test papers I did during the hols and I'm sitting on the floor. ):I feel as if there are many ants crawling all over me. eeeks! Okay I better go now. My mum is sort of angry now.
OH! Before ending, tomorrow I am going to the optician to check my eyesight. My right eye is rather blur and maybe I have to wear specs! AHHHHHHHH. So pai seh to wear cos i'm the youngest in the family and I'm wearing specs! haha. YIKES!
