U-connect Chalet (22nd-24th)

It was VERY FUN!!! We met at tampiness mrt and placed our bags in Hui Xian's van. Then we had an amazing race! We broke up into 2 groups and good I wasn't alone. Rebecca jj and Sophie jj(my cousin) were in my group! YAY. Anyway, the amazing race was held in Isetan and we had to do many activities. The funniest activity was the jump shot. We had to take a pic of our group jumping at the bus stop we alighted from to go to the chalet. But we had to take many times before we succeeded. Ivan was always too slow!! Haha. But we managed to in the end. :D My group ate lunch at the Kopitiam in the mall and I ate chicken rice. Yummm.

After that we arrived at the chalet and settled down. At night, Jonathan and Daniel, Elizabeth's friends, shared with us about the challenges christian youths face in today's society. Daniel shared his testimony. Following that, we played games outside the chalet which caused me to have flour and water all over me! We had to blow flour away from a plate and find polo sweets. Almost all the games are water games. i was realllllllyyyy WET and FLOURY!

At night, I had to share bed with my sister, rebecca. Then both of us kept fighting for the blanket. lol. It was very cold at night. BRRRRRRRR. The next day, we had morning devotion and played games like marble game, cup with holes game, scissors paper stone game and captains ball waterbomb. It was really fun. (: Then we showered and had a break. I watched a show called Joh Tucker Must Die with some of my church friends. After that we had BBQ. Very yummy foooooood. We had a christmas gift exchange and watched Sky High until like 1.45am. HAHA.

We checked out the next day around 9pm. We got home to get ready to go to MALAYSIA!!!!!!!!

My holidays

Now let me talk about my holidays in Malaysia...(sorry i forgot to post this one)

Day1 [24th Dec 08]:

1. Arrival at Seremban at around 10pm
2. Ate some of my Grandma's lovely food
   
3. Watched a little of Over The Hedge with family

Day2 [25th Dec 08]:

1. CHRISTMAS DAY!
   
2. Went to grandparents' church for christmas service at 8am. [WOW it was EARLY!!]
3. Adjourned to the nearby market for lunch. Ate Hakka Mee! YUMMMMM...
4. Went home and completed Over The Hedge
   
5. At about 3pm, I had Chendol at the famous shop. :D [delicious! REAL CHENDOL. not like Singapore's fake ones. Loved it!]
6. Family dinner with Klang folks at grandparents' porch. Enjoyed Grandma's scrumptious dishes like her Shark's Fin soup!!!

Day3 [26th Dec 08]:

1. Took a 1-2 hour drive to Malacca after lunch
2. Met all my KL and Malacca relatives at the usual Malacca house.
3. Movie Marathon with cousins!!!-- Over The Hedge [again?!], Date movie, I Am Legend [watched it with lights off], Gridiron Gang [truly inspirational]

Day4 [27th Dec 08]:

1. In the morning, SzeSze Jiejie took the girls to Malacca's 'orchard road' [can't rmb the name of the street. oops.] Had real ORIGINAL ICE KACHANG.:D
2. Went to visit Portugese Settlement, admired the pretty Christmas lightings of the houses there
3. Met with a road accident on the way home, thank God everyone was unhurt
   

Day5 [28th Dec 08]:

1. The Lian's returned to Singapore after lunch
2. Started the Chuck series with remaining cousins till the night [completed 3 DISCS!]

Day6 [29th Dec 08]:

1. Tried to complete the last Chuck disc in the morning, but failed. :(
   
2. Headed back to Singapore after lunch
3. Traffic was rather smooth until Tuas Checkpoint. Was stuck in a 1 hour jam there!
4. Happily tore open our Christmas presents (that have been sitting under the Christmas tree for the past one week) upon arrival at home.

Hello all!
Sorry I haven't been blogging cos I didn't have time. But anyway, church just ended and tomorrow there is a MY HOPE SINGAPORE event in the evening I think. It is an event to invite ppl to Christ. It's gonna be a busy tmr. haha.

On the 22-24 December, there is a u-connect chalet, and guess what?? At first, my mum didn't allow me to go as I had to finish up all my P5 papers, but my mum allowed me to in the end after begging.

EEKS. I have to do one paper now. Sisters are chasing me to. Parents went to buy fruits. BYE!

BAD NEWS!

My mum just told me that my cousin, David, will be coming to fetch my mum and I to the optician! AHHH. I am so utterly superly extremely SCARED. I now have butterflies in my stomach!! HELP ME! I pray that I won't need to wear spectacles! Amen.
Oh! FYI, my cousin, David, is already driving. haha. I think you must be wondering how come he can fetch my mum and I. lol. anyway, he is a doctor and has a brother, Michael, studying vet science in Australia. I hope to become like Michael. tee hee!
Okays, gtg get ready now! David is coming in 30 minutes!

I'm rather bored now... no one to talk to online and i'm planning a powerpoint presentation for my tuition. I also have to plan a compo on "A Very Special Dinner" for my tuition too. BLEH.
I'm so glad I've completed my commonwealth essay for I took days to complete it. I wrote too many words and I found it hard to delete some words. haha. Anyway, those who haven't completed, JIA YOU! okay, this will be a short entry. I have no idea what to write about. hehe!
My mum is actually sitting a few inches away from me, she is sitting on the table marking the test papers I did during the hols and I'm sitting on the floor. ):I feel as if there are many ants crawling all over me. eeeks! Okay I better go now. My mum is sort of angry now.
OH! Before ending, tomorrow I am going to the optician to check my eyesight. My right eye is rather blur and maybe I have to wear specs! AHHHHHHHH. So pai seh to wear cos i'm the youngest in the family and I'm wearing specs! haha. YIKES!

annoying things to do in an elevator

Hey. Found some funny things on my sister's blog. Hope she doesn't mind stealing them! Anyway, HAPPY READING! :D

ANNOYING THINGS TO DO IN AN ELEVATOR...

1) CRACK open your briefcase or handbag, peer inside and ask "Got enough air in there?"

2) STAND silent and motionless in the corner facing the wall without getting off.

3) WHEN arriving at your floor, grunt and strain to yank the doors open, then act as if you're embarrassed when they open themselves.

4) GREET everyone with a warm handshake and ask him or her to call you Admiral.

5) MEOW occasionally.

6) STARE at another passenger for a while. Then announce in horror: "You're one of THEM" - and back away slowly.

7) SAY 'ding' at each floor.

8) SAY "I wonder what all these do?" And push all the red buttons.

9) MAKE explosion noises when anyone presses a button.

10) STARE, grinning at another passenger for a while, then announce: "I have new socks on."

11) WHEN the elevator is silent, look around and ask: "Is that your beeper?"

12) TRY to make personal calls on the emergency phone.

13) DRAW a little square on the floor with chalk and announce to the other passengers: "This is my personal space."

14) WHEN there's only one other person in the elevator, tap them on the shoulder, then pretend it wasn't you.

15) PUSH the buttons and pretend they give you a shock. Smile, and go back for more.

16) ASK if you can push the button for other people but push the wrong ones.

17) HOLD the doors open and say you're waiting for your friend. After a while, let the doors close and say "Hi Greg, How's your day been?"

18) DROP a pen and wail until someone reaches to help pick it up, then scream: "That's mine!"

19) BRING a camera and take pictures of everyone in the lift.

20) PRETEND you're a flight attendant and review emergency procedures and exits with the Passengers.

21) SWAT at flies that don't exist.

CHRISTMAS IS COMINGGGG!!

I have made up my mind that...I will keep blogging! HEHE. Even though I have just gotten a diary yesterday, it is soo heart-pain to delete this blog. Anyway, my previous blogskin had a problem, so I changed my blogskin.

Btw, christmas is coming! YAY!! i love receiving presents! but the hols are going to end soon, like in a month's time. ): I better enjoy all i can before the crucial year next year! lol.

I've got many things to tell, but I find it dangerous to. Oh! For 2 weeks, I have been taking care of my aunt's and uncle's rabbits called Flo and Racer. They are both grey in colour and look like siblings! Racer has a white stripe down it's face, so we can differentiate them. I really enjoy taking care of them. (: But the bad news is... in a few days' time, they are going back to their home sweet home cos my aunt and uncle will be back from Australia. But the good news is that they wont be a distraction to me anymore! WOO HOOOOOO!!! I sound real mad.lol.

Okay, I gtg now...will try to find or buy time to blog again! HAHAHHA. Tata all! (:

HELLO!

HELLO EVERYONE! :D

I know you have been wondering why I've not been posting for quite a long time, but it's becos' my parents banned me from the com since exams are around the corner! But now, they are gone! Yay! :D

Many things have passed since I last wrote, like exams, oral, and many many more. But i just wanna tell you what happened yesterday and today.

Yesterday, I went to the SPCA after eating my lunch and before going to church. And guess what? I wanted to play with a puppy, which is x-breed, and it jumped on me! I got a fright! then it started to bite my leg. it hurt a lot then i tried to push it away but its teeth were so deep into my flesh i thought it would just bite my whole leg off! but of course it is impossible. i held its paws like dancing with it but it was so hyper that i let it go and quickly tried to get out of the cage it is kept in. But unfortunately, the dog suddenly bit my billabong slipper my cousin gave me for my christmas present last year! sob sob! and now there are so many holes in it!!!! WAH WAH. then i could not get the puppy to stop biting my slipper. Thank God a volunteer saw me struggling with the puppy inside, so she immediately came into the cage and pulled the slipper out of the puppy's mouth. I quickly got out of the cage and the volunteer immediately passed the slipper to me. i was so hurt and relieved. Firstly was cos' of my damaged slipper in a bad condition but the volunteer came in time. Secondly is cos' of my hurt leg. When i thanked the lady, i looked at my leg and saw that it was scratched badly. Good it was only a puppy or i would be torn into millions of pieces. haha! My dad told me to go home and wash my foot. But before i went home, I had a quick look at the other dogs and rabbits and cats, then i washed my hands and went home. Okay that's about it for yesterday.

For today, there was U-connect, my youth cell group. And it is held at my house. You know what? Rachel Seng came! YAY! I am so happy cos she is also in my church but does not come for Ex'pressoul after service, which is a time when people split up into groups and discuss about the day's sermon. I hope she enjoyed herself at our U-connect session today. Haha.

Okay , I needa go now. My sister is bugging me to go off the com so she can use it. sigh...okays. TATA! Hope I will have another opportunity to write soon! or maybe i will just stop blogging. i dunno...

COMPO TODAY WAS...

BAD! VERY BAD!!!
I had my HCL composition today and I didn't complete the last part! I was doing it carefully and slowly and did not keep watch of the time until my teacher, Mrs Kwek, said, "Okay girls, you have slightly less then 1 minute left." I panicked. I quickly jotted down wateva that came into my mind and did not use many good phrases!!
Soon, Mrs Kwek said pens down and I didn't finish my paper! And obviously, I didn't check it! EEKKS! I think i will do badly for my higher chinese as you know...chinese is my worst subject and it's the hardest for me. I hate Chinese the most although lessons are rather interesting as my chinese teacher cracks jokes for us.
OOH! I just overheard that my sisters were saying that my aunt, form maternal side,is coming down to Singapore today! YAY! She actually works overseas. (I call her See Ee) She always gives me n my sisters clothes. haha. the good thing is that I dont needa spend money buying clothes and accessories! hehe. anyway i hardly go out shopping as my weekends are very packed...tuition, church, blablabla.
SHE IS BACK! hehehehhe! While typing, i suddenly heard the door bell. must be her, i thought. lol. okay i better go now. I have not done my school hw yet! just wanna play play for a while only. hehes. BYE EVERYONE!

I AM SO HAPPY!
Do you know why? Cos' there is HFMD going on right? In my class, there were some people who had ulcers in their mouth and they had to go home immediately for a checkup to see if it is HFMD. Fortunately, all of my friends are okay! YAY!
However, my friend, Elizabeth is highly suspected and would only know the results if she really has HFMD on Sunday. So sad....Hope she is alright! (:

Today is also PSLE Listening Compre. Hope my P6 friends do well! Good thing we have a holiday! I have not finished my tuition homework! haha. naughty naughty me!

This is my FIRST entry for this blog. Sorry if it is rather boring as i am a newbie! Wondering why i created a blog? Cos' I have finished writing on every single page of my personal diary! hahaha! But to be honest, I think I prefer writing in a personal diary than on a blog. Cos if I write on a blog, everyone will know my feelings and stuff. So maybe I will have another diary and also a blog?? Dunno...
By the way, the oral exam is coming up soon in week 3 and I am extremely scared, especially for my chinese. Chinese is my worst subject but i am fine learning it. hehe.
